Health & Social Care Leadership Pathway

A scalable leadership pathway for organisations that need to strengthen capability across multiple leadership levels without flattening the differences between them.

The pathway combines diagnostics, practical learning, role specific application and organisational feedback so that leadership development supports both individual growth and wider system capability.

Illustrative engagement

One pathway, distinct leadership levels

High potential cohort

12 to 18 participants

First line cohort

20 to 30 participants

Senior leadership cohort

12 to 18 participants

The cohorts are supported by common diagnostics and evaluation, project based action learning, an internal sponsor and a steering group.

The exact architecture should follow the organisation's workforce and priorities rather than a fixed package.

Design

Designed around the organisation, not a generic curriculum.

  • Role specific rather than one size fits all
  • Built around the organisation's strategic and operational reality
  • Diagnostics establish a baseline
  • Practical delivery reinforced through action learning
  • Progress reviewed through evaluation, projects and defined indicators
  • Learning designed to transfer back into the organisation
